The white wine Hugo Mendes Lisboa hails from a fresh, airy terroir. With complex aromas, it is acidic, light and evolving. On the palate it displays expressiveness, promising delights with bottle ageing. Born and raised in Ribeira de Santarém, Hugo Mendes studied Biotechnical Engineering, but his passion for wine spoke louder, and since the 2006 harvest he has devoted himself entirely to enology. A lover of communicating art to consumers, he is a regular presence on social media. Since 2008 he has run a blog dedicated to simplifying enology for wine lovers. He became a producer in his own name in the 2016 harvest, having carried out Portugal's first crowdfunding campaign to finance a wine. (image merely illustrative)
