This Alentejo Syrah is a wonderfully intriguing wine. The deep ruby colour hints at serious potential, while the nose bursts with notes of blackberry compote and black pepper – a touch of balsamic vinegar practically demands a perfectly grilled pork dish. The careful winemaking, utilising inox lagars and manual pigeage, has resulted in a remarkably textured wine with firm tannins, promising a long and rewarding ageing. Absolutely brilliant with a nice grilled fish!
