“This wine’s name certainly raises an eyebrow – it’s a rather peculiar experience, to say the least. Produced with locally grown grapes, it boasts a vibrant acidity that’s a bit much, and a body that’s clearly had a lively chat with the regional terroir. While the producer’s passion for *Antao Pádua* is evident, the aromatic complexity doesn’t quite translate into the depth you might expect from more prestigious grapes. A wine for those who appreciate a relaxed boldness – perhaps paired with some feta cheese and olives.”
