This “Humus Deriva” is certainly an experience – the “organic” label certainly sets a relaxed tone. The wine wholeheartedly embraces this with an exuberantly earthy character, undoubtedly shaped by its unique terroir. Predominantly featuring indigenous grapes, it bursts with fresh fruit notes, reminiscent of damp earth and, frankly, a hint of hummus. The producer, clearly close to the land, earned a Gold Award at the Beira Baixa Wine Tasting, suggesting a discerning palate beneath the wine's playful extravagance. Wonderful with crusty homemade bread and some Manchego.
