Hailing from the ancient vineyards of Roncão, this wine feels plucked straight from a Douro fairytale. Planted way back in 1900, these elevated plots between 250 and 400 metres above sea level deliver a deeply expressive red – a true echo of the region’s storied past. The schistous soils contribute a remarkable structure and complexity, mirroring the purest interpretation of the Douro. Seriously impressive, and a fantastic match for a hearty, roasted beef.
