Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no one like him anywhere in the world. His wines are treasures that result from the extreme care this winemaker devotes to every vine, to every step the grape takes until it becomes liquid gold. Jean‑François is much more than a biodynamic producer; he is a perfectionist who goes so far that each of his small cuvées has its own unique and personal “elevage,” a detail that would drive anyone mad. He makes his wines in the Jura, even though he worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, and the vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées lie in an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland – they are an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs.
