Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him anywhere in the world. His wines are little treasures that come from the extreme care of this “vigneron” over his entire vineyard, from every step the grape takes until it turns into liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic grower – he is a perfectionist who imagines, to the point that each of his small cuvées has its own unique “elevage”, a notion that would drive anyone mad. He makes his wines in the Jura, even though he has worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy. In an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland sit the various vineyards that give rise to all the cuvées of this producer, which are nothing more than an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As a zealous biodynamic, his wines contain very small percentages of sulfur, or in some cases none at all. (illustrative image only)
