Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no one else like him in the world. His wines are precious gems born of the extreme care this “vigneron” devotes to his entire vineyard, in every step the grape takes until it turns into liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic winemaker—he is a perfectionist who imagines, to the point that each of his small cuvées has a unique, personal “elevage,” a notion that would drive anyone mad. He creates his wines in Jura, even though he has worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy. Nestled in an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland, the various vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées are nothing more than an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs.
