Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him in the world. His wines are treasures born from the extreme care this “vigneron” gives to his entire vineyard, from the grape’s journey to its transformation into liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic producer – he is a perfectionist who, at times, goes so far that each of his small cuvées has its own unique “elevage,” a practice that could drive anyone mad. Though he worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, Jean‑François makes his wines in the Jura. Nestled between Burgundy and Switzerland, the various vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées are simply immortal mirrors of each of his terroirs. As a fervent biodynamic, his wines contain almost no sulfites, and in some cases none at all.
