Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him in the world. His wines are precious jewels that result from the extreme care of this “vigneron” throughout his entire vineyard, in every step that the grape takes until it becomes liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic producer; he is a perfectionist who imagines, to the point that each of his small cuvées has a unique and personal “elevage,” something that would drive anyone mad. He makes his wines in Jura, despite having worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, where, in an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland, the various vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées serve as an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As a fervent biodynamic, his wines contain very small percentages of sulfites, or in some cases none at all.
