Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him anywhere in the world. His wines are precious gems that result from the extreme care this “vigneron” gives to every step of the vine’s journey until it turns into liquid gold. Jean‑François is much more than a biodynamic farmer; he is a perfectionist who even has a unique “elevage” for each of his small cuvées, something that would drive anyone mad. It is in the Jura—despite his work with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy—that Jean‑François makes his wines. Nestled between Burgundy and Switzerland are the various vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées, which are nothing more than an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As a fervent biodynamic, his wines contain only tiny percentages of sulfites, or in some cases none at all.
