Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him in the world. His wines are precious gems born from the extreme care this “vigneron” gives to every grape, every step that transforms the fruit into liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic farmer; he is a perfectionist who takes pride in ensuring that each of his small cuvées enjoys a unique, personal “elevage”, a detail that would drive anyone mad. He produces his wines in Jura, despite having worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy. In an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland lie the vineyards that give rise to all of this producer’s cuvées—each one an immortal mirror of its terroir. As a passionate biodynamic, his wines contain minuscule percentages of sulfites, or in some cases none at all.
