Jean‑François Ganevat is unique; there is no other like him anywhere in the world. His wines are precious gems that result from the extreme care this “vigneron” gives to every step of the grape’s journey, from vine to liquid gold. Jean‑François is far more than a biodynamic farmer; he’s a perfectionist who takes the effort so far that each of his small cuvées has its own unique “elevage”, a practice that would drive anyone mad. Although he worked with Jean‑Marc Morey in Burgundy, Jean‑François makes his wines in the Jura. In an enclave between Burgundy and Switzerland lie the vineyards that give birth to all of this producer’s cuvées, which are nothing less than an immortal mirror of each of his terroirs. As an ardent biodynamic, his wines contain only trace amounts of sulfur, or in some cases none at all. (Illustrative image only).
