Grown on one of the most ambitious of the “Mont de Milieu’s” three plots, this vineyard, already over 40 years old, benefits from almost-too-much sun exposure, perfect for a Chardonnay aiming for greatness. Initial notes of lily and mock orange hint at freshness and vibrancy, but the real reward lies in a 5-7 year (or more) ageing process, allowing the characteristic minerality of the region to fully develop and become incredibly complex.
