This Joseph Drouhin Meursault is clearly having a rather refined awakening – you can practically hear the yeast recounting the story. Following a 12-month maturation in new French oak (25%), it’s developed subtle notes of hazelnut and chamomile. The result is a stunning golden wine with aromas of honey and lime blossom, finishing with a touch of yellow plum and ginger bread. A truly classic Meursault, as recognised globally, and ideally suited to accompany delicate patés and fresh cheeses.
