Description

Julia Melo Kemper, a lawyer by trade, has long been passionate about biological matters. At one point she decided to organise her family’s vineyards in the Dão to give that interest a tangible outlet, and with the help of Vines and Wines she replanted the vines and converted them to a biological regime. Made from equal parts Encruzado and Malvasia Fina, the wine is vinified in two stages: a partial fermentation in French oak barrels with bâtonnage, followed by a controlled‑temperature, open‑bell system in a stainless‑steel tank. The result is a strikingly original wine, offering aromas of willow and orange blossom and a dry, mineral, fresh palate—an unmissable bottle!
