Kelman White is made from the Encruzado grape and is yet another testament to how Juliana respects the character of the grape and the traditional terroir of the Dão, maintaining the freshness that balances the structure with floral and white fruit notes. It presents a citrine hue and an intense fruity aroma, subtly blended with mentholated and citrus nuances. On the palate it is full-bodied, structured and persistent, highlighting its natural acidity and mineral profile at the finish. Juliana Kelman, a descendant of a Portuguese family that emigrated to Brazil in the 1940s, returned to Portugal with the intention of embracing the world of wines, knowing that in Portuguese territory quality is paramount. Thus, in 2013 she began production in the Dão region, always respecting its character by planting the traditional varieties Touriga Nacional and Encruzado. Today she combines intelligent ancestral practices with modern production processes, presenting the world with authentic, elegant and gastronomic wines.
