Kendall‑Jackson Lokoya Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon 2019 Napa Valley, California – USA **Description** Produced exclusively from Cabernet Sauvignon grown on high‑altitude vineyards of Spring Mountain, this wine is a study in intensity and character. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, without malolactic fermentation or filtration, it faithfully conveys the austere, mountainous terroir of the eastern side of the Mayacamas. Poor soils, vine slope and natural temperature swings give the wine a floral profile, deep red fruit and soft tannins in a full‑bodied yet balanced structure. A very limited, point‑scored edition (98 pts) with excellent aging potential. **Winemaker**: Christopher Carpenter **Ideal pairings**: - Aged beef with mushroom sauce - Wild boar ragù - Truffled polenta with roasted meat - Mature cheeses such as aged Comté or Pecorino **Technical data** - Region: Spring Mountain District, Napa Valley - Vine altitude: 305–640 m - Harvest: Manual - Yield: 2 ton/acre (low yield) - Vinification: Fermentation with indigenous yeasts - Aging: 21 months in French oak (87 % new) - Bottling: No malolactic fermentation or filtration “An intense‑bodied Cabernet with a deep colour and an impressive bouquet of ripe plums, graphite, flowers and tobacco. Full‑bodied, balanced and with a long finish. Age 4–5 years and drink until 25 years.” – Jeb Dunnuck **Awards** 98/100 – Jeb Dunnuck **Allergen information** Contains sulfites.
