Kompassus Blanc de Noirs is a brut natural sparkling wine from Bairrada, made from Baga grapes grown on old vines and Pinot Noir. Crafted by the classic method with bottle fermentation, it offers a fine, elegant mousse, with notes of dried fruit, toasted bread and baked apple. On the palate it shines with freshness, creaminess and persistence, all within a sophisticated and harmonious profile. João Póvoa began producing wines in 1991 under the brand Quinta de Baixo, becoming the first notable individual producer in the municipality of Cantanhede. In 2005 the Kompassus company was founded, its wine‑making philosophy rooted in family traditions and heritage. Today João Póvoa continues to devote himself to producing wines of excellence, supported by minimal‑intervention viticultural practices and production methods. (Illustrative image only)
