This 50‑year‑old Port is made from a batch of traditional Douro grapes and displays a mahogany hue with greenish reflections. It offers an intense aroma with extraordinary complexity, revealing layered scents from wood ageing, with prominent notes of dried figs, tobacco, dried white plums, and walnuts. On the palate it showcases the opulence of a great vintage Port, with flavors that seem endless, again featuring typical wood‑aged spices and dried fruits, but always wrapped in fresher tones that provide a unique, interminable finish. C.N. Kopke is the oldest Port wine company. Founded in 1638 by Cristiano Kopke and his son Nicolau Kopke, who came to Portugal as Consul of the Hanseatic League, it has accumulated four centuries of success in the Port wine world. The Kopke brand, acquired in 2006 by the Sogevinus group, remains a prestigious reference, upholding the quality standards that guided it in the market over the years, especially recognised for its Harvest Ports, which enjoy high notoriety in the sector.
