Description

This Kranemann from the Douro is a delightfully restrained wine – a comforting hug of wild plum sweetness, but without any overblown theatrics. That hint of strawberry nose is a lovely, unexpected surprise, and the texture on the palate is so smooth it’s almost velvety. You can really taste the influence of those ‘Vinhas Velhas’ – old vines – and it’s a fantastic match with aged cheeses and cured meats.
