Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, focusing on exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn—now simply Krohn—is run by the third generation of the family of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro, who had overseen the firm’s wine export since 1910.
