Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, with a focus on exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, the company—now simply Krohn—is managed by the third generation of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro’s family, who had overseen the firm’s wine exports since 1910.
