Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, with a focus on exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and to Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn, now simply Krohn, is run by the third generation of the Edmundo Falcão Carneiro family, who had been managing the company’s wine export since 1910.
