Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, originally focused on exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn, now simply Krohn, is run by the third generation of the Edmundo Falcão Carneiro family, who managed the firm's wine exports since 1910.
