Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, based on exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, Wiese & Krohn, now simply Krohn, is run by the third generation of the family of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro, who had been managing the firm’s wine exports since 1910.
