Wiese & Krohn was founded in 1865 by two young Norwegians, Theodor Wiese and Dankert Krohn, with the aim of exporting Port wine to Scandinavian markets and Germany. Today, the company—now simply Krohn—is run by the third generation of the family of Edmundo Falcão Carneiro, who managed the firm’s wine exports since 1910.
