This Monterey Valley Chardonnay seems to have been lovingly coaxed by the climate – those morning mists delivering a vibrant acidity, while the cool days preserve a delightful freshness. The northern parcels burst with fruit, balanced beautifully by the southern ones which contribute a rich, elegant aromatic complexity, suggesting meticulous ripening. The stainless steel fermentation with a touch of “bâtonnage” promises a wonderfully textured mouthfeel. It’s undeniably a wine of Monterey, and frankly, it’s not shy about that acidity! Pairs wonderfully with seafood or a classic Greek salad.
