Right, let’s see… This LAB, hailing straight from the heart of the Lisboa region, seems to have taken a little detour, doesn't it? The audacity of blending Moscatel with Sauvignon Blanc and Arinto hints at a restless spirit – perhaps a touch too experimental. As if the Fernão Pires wasn’t already feeling like a bewildered newcomer in this red wine ensemble! However, that gold medal from the Decanter World Competition certainly backs it up, and the wine boasts a wonderfully refreshing finish, a delightful counterpoint to its apparent disarray. Absolutely brilliant with grilled fish, or, for the truly adventurous, a good mushroom pizza.
