The first step was finding an accessible winemaking site with a mild climate, high altitude, spacious and well proportioned—one that would allow a harmony between the traditional winemaking practices of Duriensis and the contributions of modern enology. Thus, Secret Spot Wines was born, a project of Quinta da Faísca located in the Favaios region of the Douro.
