Intense color with violet reflections and foam that fades away. Vinoso and fruity, reminiscent of a peach pit. On the palate it’s smooth and balanced. Ideal for any meal, it pairs perfectly with spicy dishes and is excellent with dry pastries. In 1950, a group of nine wine producers from the Province of Reggio Emilia founded the Cantine Riunite Cooperative. Eleven years later, four wineries from the Province of Modena followed their example and established the Consorzio Interprovinciale Vini (CIV). This encouraged small producers to join forces and build a new winery in Canali in 1936. Its success was such that, over the following decades, membership grew to 170 producers. Famous for years for its high‑quality bulk wines, Cantina Albinea Canali now offers a range of first‑class products exclusively to restaurants and wine shops. (Illustrative image only)
