Le Dôme’s expertly crafted wines are headed by Neil White, with Thomas Duclos as a consultant. The 2018 vintage is a blend of 80% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot, boasting a pH of 3.82 and 14.3% alcohol. Initially, the wine unveils captivating aromas of blackberry crumble, kirsch, blueberry compote, and plum pudding, underpinned by subtle notes of mint and rose oil, alongside a hint of graphite and fragrant earth. On the palate, it delivers a fantastic burst of freshness and structure, layered with richly perfumed red and black fruits, culminating in a remarkably fine-grained, persistent mineral finish. It’s undoubtedly one of Le Dôme’s most refined expressions – and a serious pleasure to drink.
