Les Prunes Rosé

Description

Les Prunes is a rosé wine made from the Mandó grape, belonging to the Les filles d’Amàlia collection of Celler del Roure, named in honour of Amalia, the mother of its creator. The front label of Les Prunes, “As Ameixas” in Valencian, identifies it as a “blanc de Mandó,” since it is made like a white wine from red grapes of this Valencian variety, while the back label classifies it as “Vi verge,” because it is vinified without press wine, only with fresh must. The result is a monovarietal wine with moderate alcohol content, lively, intense and very expressive on the nose, and a bit sharper in the mouth, which in this vintage is especially elegant and harmonious.
