The Madmoiselle Blanche sparkling wine is a Blanc de Blanc, produced from Terret Gris grapes (also known as Terret‑Bourret) that have been cultivated for centuries in the Languedoc‑Roussillon region, blended with Colombard, a fine grape for this style. It pours pale yellow, with fine, abundant bubbles that form a light mousse. Fresh and elegant, it offers notes of tangerines and white‑fleshed fruits. A group of growers united by the same passion created the Vignerons de Florensac, based in Languedoc and covering 670 hectares near the Mediterranean Sea and bounded by the Etang de Thau. The soil north of the vineyards is a vast plateau of clay and limestone, while the south is a plain mainly of sand deposits. The Mediterranean and the lake provide a very favorable temperate climate that limits day‑night temperature swings during the very dry summer, enhancing aroma development. The vines are grown and maintained with an ecological approach, with about 50 hectares already officially integrated into organic farming. (Illustrative image only)
