This luscious Quinta da Alorna, aged for five years, seems to have taken a little trip back in time – and frankly, it’s a rather delightful one. Initially, you’re greeted with a heady blend of honey and nuts, particularly fig and almond, as if the Alorna vineyard itself is whispering ancient secrets. The texture is unbelievably smooth, cleverly balancing the sweetness with a surprising freshness. It finishes with a persistent memory of those nuts, utterly sublime paired with aged cheeses and a touch of honey, of course.
