“This Lobo Ruby, a testament to the experience honed by LoboDoce, unveils a few secrets still held within the Setúbal Peninsula. Crafted primarily with Touriga Nacional, the grapes were harvested by hand at the end of October, benefiting from the region’s dry climate to achieve intense concentration of flavour. Following a brief maceration, the wine underwent a careful inoculation with high-quality grape brandy, culminating in a 10-month ageing in cement tanks – a clever choice leveraging the mineral-rich rock of Palmela. Expect a wine with a distinctive mineral character, perfect alongside aged cheeses or a hearty red meat dish.”
