Description

All the terrain shares one feature: limestone soils. In this extreme, poor soil lies the Monastrell from Casa Los Frailes, a Valencian winery that treats the grape’s uniqueness with utmost respect, intervening as little as possible in the cellar. To achieve this, they produce this wine from the plot “La Parada de Tordos,” just as the monks did centuries ago, aging it in old concrete vats that the cellar had used back then.
