The name Lualma comes from the first syllable of the names Lucía, Alfredo and Martina, members of the fifth generation of the family that runs Bodegas Barahonda. The wine is also a blend of three grape varieties in perfect harmony and equal proportion, each making up a third of the blend: Monastrell, which embodies strength; Tintorera, which personifies friendliness; and Syrah, symbolising sweetness.
