Madeira wine made from the Malvasia grape, aged for 30 years in the traditional Canteiro system in the caves of Funchal. A sweet, full‑bodied wine with a rich colour and extremely aromatic. Henrique Menezes Borges, a merchant, devoted his entire life to finding a selection of wines produced on the island of Madeira with the aim of ageing them and storing them. Today, the H.M. Borges company is run by the fourth generation of his family and has not only increased its stock of Madeira wine but also enhanced its quality. The production of H. M. Borges’ Madeira wine results from a great deal of patience and dedication to achieve a quality product. The bottling year may not correspond to the image presented.
