Henrique Menezes Borges, a merchant, dedicated his whole life to searching for a selection of wines produced on the island of Madeira with the aim of ageing them and building stock. Today, the H.M. Borges company is run by the fourth generation of his family and has not only increased its stock of Madeira wine but also enhanced its quality. The production of H.M. Borges’ Madeira wine is the result of great patience and dedication, in order to achieve a high‑quality product.
