Justino Henriques e Filhos Wines was founded in 1870 and is one of Madeira’s largest wine producers. In 1981, Sigfredo da Costa Campos bought the company from Companhia Vinícola da Madeira and later acquired the company’s shares as well. Today, the business is owned by the French firm La Martiniquaise, which has a major influence on exports to the French market.
