Veiga França wines are a historic brand of Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques and tracing its roots back to 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership was formed between his two sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim Henriques, which gave rise to the name Henriques & Henriques. From the very beginning, Henriques & Henriques has held a prominent position in viticulture and winemaking. In 1913 the family interests were incorporated into a family company that, in 1925, began exporting its wines instead of supplying local distributors. Since then the company has embraced the latest technological innovations while maintaining the unchanging family tradition that has produced the finest Madeira wines for 200 years. Full control of every aspect of production allows H&H to produce and market wines of exceptional quality. The bottling year may not match the image shown. (image purely illustrative)
