Veiga França wines belong to the historic Henriques & Henriques brand, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques in 1850. After his death in 1912, the company was established by his sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim, giving rise to the name Henriques & Henriques. From the beginning the house has been a leader in viticulture and winemaking, becoming an exporter in 1925 instead of supplying local traders. The firm embraces modern technology while preserving a 200‑year family tradition of producing the finest Madeira wines, with total control over every stage of production ensuring exceptional quality.
