Description

Veiga França wines are a brand with a long history in Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques, dating back to 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership was formed between his two sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim Henriques, giving rise to the name Henriques & Henriques. From the very beginning, Henriques & Henriques has held a prominent place in viticulture and winemaking. In 1913 the family interests were incorporated into a family company that, in 1925, began exporting its wines instead of supplying local distributors. Since then the company has embraced the latest technological innovations while maintaining the unaltered family tradition that has lasted 200 years in producing the finest Madeira wines. Total control over every aspect of production allows H&H to produce and market wines of exceptional quality. The bottling year may not correspond to the image shown. (illustrative only)
