The Veiga França wines are a brand with a long history at Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques, dating back to 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership was formed between his two sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim Henriques, which gave rise to the name Henriques & Henriques. From the very beginning, Henriques & Henriques has held a prominent place in viticulture and winemaking. In 1913, the family interests were incorporated into a family company that, in 1925, began exporting its wines instead of supplying local other exporters. Since then, the company has embraced the latest technological innovations while maintaining the unaltered family tradition that has endured for 200 years in producing the best Madeira wines. Total control over all aspects of production allows H&H to produce and market wines of exceptional quality. The year of bottling may not match the image shown. (illustrative image)
