Veiga França wines are a historic brand within Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques and tracing its roots back to 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership between his sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim Henriques, gave rise to the Henriques & Henriques name. From the outset, the company has been a prominent figure in viticulture and winemaking. In 1913 the family interests were formalised as a family business, and by 1925 the company began exporting its wines rather than supplying them to other exporters. Since then, it has embraced the latest technological innovations while preserving an unbroken family tradition that spans 200 years in producing the finest Madeira wines. Complete control over every stage of production enables Henriques & Henriques to create and market wines of exceptional quality.
