Veiga França wines are a brand with a heritage at Henriques & Henriques, founded by João Gonçalves Henriques in 1850. After his death in 1912, a partnership was formed between his two sons, Francisco Eduardo and João Joaquim Henriques, giving rise to the name Henriques & Henriques. From the earliest days, the house has held a prominent place in viticulture and winemaking. In 1913 the family interests were incorporated into a family company, and in 1925 it began exporting its wines rather than supplying them locally to other exporters. Since then the company has embraced the latest technological innovations while preserving an unaltered family tradition that has lasted 200 years in producing the finest Madeiras. Total control over every stage of production allows H&H to produce and market wines of exceptional quality. The bottling year may not match the image shown.
