Malhadinha – the Malhadinha Tinto, Rosé and Branco form the cornerstone of the brand. A marriage of carefully selected grape varieties creates the terroir of Malhadinha Nova, giving the Herdade da Malhadinha Nova wines their distinctive character. The grapes are hand‑picked for 12‑kg barrels and meticulously selected at the sorting table. Fermentation occurs in a temperature‑controlled vat, with multiple foot‑pumping throughout the process. The wines mature for 16 months in new French oak barrels.
