This Mamoré de Borba initially throws you for a loop, but in a rather delightful way. The time spent aging – five months in used French oak barrels followed by a clay aging – imparts a subtle hazelnut note that beautifully balances with the freshness of the Touriga Nacional. Definitely a rosé that’s going to surprise you, and pairs wonderfully with grilled fish or a vibrant berry salad.
