This Mãos Reserva 3x, hailing straight from the Douro, certainly seems to have had a rather intense youth. Spending 18 months maturing in new French oak has gifted it a notable complexity. The producer clearly prioritises grape quality, meticulously selected in the vineyard. It’s a fantastic match with a good grilled steak – the wine will undoubtedly elevate the beef’s flavour while providing a serious treat for the palate.
